This year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este will be celebrating the Roaring Twenties and their appeal to the masses and will be showcasing, as usual, some of the best looking cars ever made. BMW will also celebrate the 10th year of collaboration with the Villa d’Este luxury hotel in hosting this beautiful and special event.
The contest will reach its 85th edition and BMW already confirmed that there will be two new concepts unveiled on the plateau in front of the world famous Villa between May 23rd and 25th. One of them will be a car and one will be a brand new bike.

Rolls-Royce and Maserati, two of the world’s best known luxury manufacturers, will also be celebrating anniversaries, the 110th for the former and 100th for the latter. While the Brits will be partying and showcasing their manufacturing excellence in the rotunda at Villa Erba, the Italians will host their own beauty contest organized by BMW Group Italia, handing out the Coppa d’Oro Villa d’Este to the one car voted the most by the audience. Amongst the contenders you’ll find one of only nine Maserati 450 S ever made.

Classic motorcycles will also be exposed this year, as part of the fourth annual Concorso di Motociclette beauty contest, including two four-cylinder models from US brands ACE and Hendersion alongside a BMW R 32, the oldest known example of its type.

MINI will celebrate 50 years since the original British car won the Legendary Monte Carlo Rally while the BMW 700, the brand’s best selling car to date, will be marking 55 years since it was revealed, ending up saving the Bavarians from bankruptcy. To mark this moment, the BMW Group decided to offer one of the original 700 models up for auction in collaboration with RM Auctions, with all the proceeds going to a good cause.
