We know BMW is working hard on a new liter-class terror in a naked guise based on the acclaimed S1000RR machine, and here are some more spy shots of the upcoming monster.
It's yet hard to tell whether the exterior design is really close to the final form, and the pictures are not helping too much, either. However, it looks like the headlight assembly will keep the cues of the "winking" S1000RR, with asymmetrical design showing an uncanny evil grin. No idea whether BMW plans to deliver the streetfighter with a mini fairing or not, yet.

Other part which seems to be left the S1000RR way is the exhaust, though we strongly believe a more modern silencer shape could have done way better. Above and between the two headlights we can see an air intake, which might mean the new machine will be equipped with a RAM air system.

BMW is not offering any data yet on whether they plan to keep the brutal S1000RR engine powering the new naked beast, or will tame it a bit. It's really hard to believe they would develop a special engine for such a bike, while some gearing adjustments might a good idea to make it more streetable. Seen on Asphalt&Rubber.
