The fact that BMWs are good at drifting is no longer a surprise for anyone but the new M4 seems to be taking things to a whole new level. A Chinese driver named Zhang Shengjun (Chinese Taipei) managed to set a whole new world record using it, even though it was a bit on the unusual side.
Using the 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque of the new car, he managed to set the world record for most donuts (or drift spins as the Guiness World Records calls it) around a car driving on two wheels in one minute. That’s a long title.

Basically, he managed to do 10 complete circles around a MINI that was driven on two wheels alone by his partner in crime, Han Yue (China), in just 60 seconds. You can watch the attempt in the video posted below.

The new world record came after Yue also broke one himself, this time for the world’s tightest parallel park job, managing to park his 3-door MINI in a space that was just 8 cm longer than the length of his own car. That way, he stole the title from the previous record holder, Alastair Moffatt that did the same stunt with 8.6 cm to spare.

The whole ordeal took place at the “China Drift Championship” which was held at the Chongqing Olympic Park on November 14.
