The recently launched LCI BMW 5 Series Touring got some design changes, a new interior and a new diesel engine, the one on the 518d with 143 HP, a new entry level car.
Up until now we were able to feast our eyes on tons of photos with the new car and judge how good or bad it looks. Today we got our hands on a first clip with the new 530d Touring, in all its grander.
The 530d now has a 3-liter diesel engine with 258 HP and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque and comes with the 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. This way the fuel consumption reaches an astonishing 42.8 mpg (5.5 l/100km) on a combined cycle.
