Ever since the Mercedes-Benz C-Class was released, its only purpose was to stop the 3 Series' dominant position on the sports sedan segment. The war between the 2 is still going, almost 23 years later. Today we're looking at the best of the 2 models going at it: the M3 and the C63 AMG.
The video is not new, but the comparison is still valid, since both cars are still in production. Looking at the numbers: the M3 has a 4-liter V8 engine with 420 HP and 300 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque whilst the C63 AMG has a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 451 HP and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque.
On the racetrack, the C63 AMG had trouble keeping the power in check throughout the showdown and this proved to be the decisive in the race against the E90 M3, which claimed another victory over its arch-enemy. The superior handling and traction of the Bimmer helped its driver overcome not only the Mercedes but also the Lexus IS F and Infiniti G35.
