It's been long said that the BMW E82 1M Coupe is the only true heir of the original M3, the E30 model. However, lots of owner of the limited run model, decided to turn them into city cruisers or keep them in the original shape, instead of racing them.
One man though, wanted to put that incredible chassis to good use. He created a proper rally car out of a BMW 1M Coupe that is tearing unpaved roads as we speak. Sure, the car wasn't kept stock, even though we reckon it could've done pretty good even in stock mode.
In order to better cope with the high-pressure environment of a rally race, the Bimmer got E46 cylinders, KMS ECU, a roll cage, a 6-speed sequential gearbox, 360mm discs with 6-cylinder calipers at the front and 330mm rotors at the back with 4-pot calipers, Kumho tires, Speedline rims, Proflex shock absorbers and a lot of stickers, of course.
As you can see in the videos below, the man isn't playing around and the 1M was spotted spitting fire on more than one occasion. Way to go!
