For the previous 1 Series, BMW offered a set of so-called Performance Rotors that were supposedly better than the stock brake disks you'd get on your Bimmer. Some forum members actually installed the new brakes and shared the experience.
In case you own an E8x 135is and want more stopping power, you probably considered getting this upgrade for your car. If we're right, you'll definitely want to follow this DIY to change the disks yourself.

What you're going to need:
  • Jack (optional rubber protector)
  • 10MM Allen socket
  • 6MM Allen socket
  • 17MM Socket
  • Torque wrench
  • Bucket
  • Performance Rotors

When you're all set, just follow the guide the guys from 1addicts.com made and in a couple of minutes you'll be ready to set new lap times.
