BMW inside sources suggested the 4 Series would enter production this summer, but the fact that prototypes didn't quite look ready worried us deeply. All those anxieties lifted today when we saw the very first spy photographs of a 4 Series Coupe totally undisguised.
The fact that this stunning new two-door was permitted to go out without a hat and trench coat on means they're actually getting ready for the official debut by taking minty-fresh official photos for the brochures.

We very much like the design of the 4 Series as a coupe. The side show two very powerful design elements, the single vent right behind the front wheel that continues into a concave surface across the body, and the real character line that connects the front wheelarch to the taillights. BMW designers have opted for black chrome and large alloys, likely both options on a long least of customization features.
