When BMW unveiled their concept on the 4 Series everyone was enthralled. The concept was beautiful and the production car it inspired is just the same.
The F32 4 Series Coupe unfortunately didn't carry over the hexagonal-like corona rings that impressed all of us on the concept. Most of us were disappointed whilst some (few) started searching for solutions.
One ingenious forum member decided to make his own corona rings, based on the concept design. He got together all the parts he needed and started working on it. Some weeks later, the end result was good enough that he would fit it on his car.
Of course, it wasn't a 4 Series Coupe as at that time the car wasn't even unveiled in its official, production form but thanks to his design, he was able to fit the new rings inside the headlights of his F30 3 Series.
The new headlights look amazing and will definitely attract a lot of attention on the street. Furthermore, the hexagonal corona rings can also be retrofitted to the retiring E92 Coupe and E90 Sedan so more people can enjoy them.
