Bill Graham's 1970 Jaguar Series II for Sale on eBay

Celebrity owned vehicles are usually the most coveted by private collectors or by the general public, so there was no surprise to see that a 1970 Jaguar E-Type Convertible that formally belonged to the American impresario and rock concert promoter already has 11 bids since it was introduced for sale on eBay, as celebritycarsblog.com related. The current owner says he purchased the vehicle in 1995 from the estate of Bill Graham and that he took great care of it since then (he even has complete service records to verify all service and repair). Some of the cars features are listed below:
  • Finished in Jaguar Ascot Fawn, a tan interior, and a new black convertible top
  • There is still some original paint under the floor mats
  • The entire engine bay is original, and much of the paint is original
  • All original heat shields, lower and upper, and also the front cage, all still intact
  • Original stone guards
  • All original hose clamps and cable ties still intact
  • Original Engine - matching numbers
  • Original radio, dash and control panel and also
  • Original interior, including seats, carpeting, dash pad and control panel.
  • Original wheels (including an original wheel in the trunk)
  • Original boot cover

“Although the paint could use a little attention if you wanted this car to look perfect you can enjoy the car just the way it is. You will notice that the interior looks like new and the right canvas top, from England, has just recently been replaced,” says the advert trying to attract potential bidders.

Last time we checked, the bid was $22,600, but there are still six days left, so if you want to own it, enter here and place your bid.

It could be a bargain, considering that according to the seller, the current CPI Value lists a Jaguar Series II XKE Roadster (Condition 2) at $76,000, and continues to climb in collector value.
