Bentley is an automotive producer that has ventured even deeper than before into the refinement woods in the last few years.
As one of the top brands in the Volkswagen Group’s portfolio, the company offers premium vehicles that offer more luxury than you’ve ever wanted while delivering impressive performance.
However, the company could use a new, radical product that would adopt its racing heritage and offer top driving thrills. Unfortunately, such a car doesn’t seem to be a priority on Bentley’s list.
However, two designers coming from China have decided to do the work for the company and create a Bentley supercar, as Car Body Design reports. Shawn Wood and Guohua Cheng, from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts created the study you see here and offered it the “Bentley Silver Wings Concept” name.
We are talking about a ferocious supercar which uses two sources of inspiration. The first is (of course) the brand’s heritage, while the second is the F22 fighter jet.
And we could also look at the vehicle in a different, more industry-like way: why not consider the car a successor for the Hunaudieres concept, which was unveiled in 1999.
The vehicle is a mix between a mid-engine layout and aggressive design cues. The front end uses an aggressive layout built around Bentley’s trademark domed grille, as well as circular headlights that draw inspiration from the company’s current design language.
As for the rear section, this used an elegant approach. We are talking about an elongated section that adopts flowing lines, without introducing bold aerodynamic elements. The location of choice for these is actually the rear bumper, which includes a massive diffuser.
