Coming from the Slava Saakyan design studio, whose founder has been working in the sphere of automotive design for a long time, this home furniture brings a study desk, double bed, compact chest and luxurious sofa, aimed to make one feel at home like in a car.

Not only visual aspects, but also the technology of production and applied materials, draw inspiration from those used for building of the modern concept-cars.

The table, chest and bed are completely projected in CAD-system, and the most of panels are milled on NC tool. The materials are carbon, stainless steel, glass-fiber and leather. Many panels are painted with car enamel. In most cases, the build has started from a hard carbon frame.

In the desk’s case, the table-boards are painted with car enamel, a pedestal is covered with genuine leather. Horizontal board converts to slanting part with big pen case for writing materials.

The bed is a multifunctional object – it can be used not only for sleeping, but as a “recreation area” as well. A real automobile MP3 player and acoustic system with 4 dynamics are mounted into the bed’s soft back.

The chest has side elements that are covered in leather, while the upper shelf as carbon coating. Finally, the design of the sofa was inspired from the interior of Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse, previous generation, mounted onto the steel frame. Glass-fiber edging reminds of sport-cars, an aggressive antiwing and a cowl with cancellated air vent are also among the highlights.
