Audi Honors Dealers at the 2009 Magna Society Awards

The top dealers in the United States were honored by German carmaker Audi during the the 2009 Magna Society awards, a ceremony which most of all tried to emphasize the difficulties and the achievements of the troubled 2009.

The list of winning dealerships is 58 names long and includes stores in 30 states. The 58 were chosen out of the existing 270 based on meeting their customer and business objectives.

This means, aside for reaching the sales objectives, the dealers must maintain "a solid financial foundation, merit high customer satisfaction scores and show their facilities and staffs represent the progressive Audi culture."

"The ability of Audi to flourish in these times has been built on sound business practices, a sharper brand identity and the outstanding customer service provided by our best dealers," Mark Del Rosso, Audi of America COO said in a statement. "With the Magna Society we recognize the U.S. dealers who have provided the best examples in 2009."

"Commitment like this from dealers shows the excitement generated by the Audi brand and the collection of exceptional motor cars Audi has been introducing in recent years," Johan de Nysschen, Audi of America president added. "It is the basis for a very bright future for Audi, its dealer partners and, most of all, customers."

The Magna Society was created by Audi to help Audi facilities become more exclusive. By the end of 2010, the German carmaker hopes to have 140 exclusive dealerships across the US.
