There are a lot of people out there interested in the military. Some like the army way of doing things, the discipline and the chain of command, while others are simply in love with military fashion.
Usually translated into wearing green garments with a certain cut, some go as far as putting the army look into just about any part of their life, despite not actually being in the military.

The SL 500 (R231) pictured above is most likely belonging to one of those people. Sporting an exterior that looks like it came straight out of the MASH 4077 series, the model is also a bit dirty, something which emphasizes its army workhorse look even more.

Being a 500 model, the car isn't exactly a slouch either, but the owner decided to give it a little more bite anyway.

Featuring a Upsolute ECU tuning, the military-look Mercedes-Benz SL 500 now develops 505 hp instead of “just” 435 hp, while the torque was increased from 700 Nm (516 lb ft) to 800 Nm (590 lb ft). The car's top speed now sits at over 300 km/h (186+ mph), which would pretty much make it the fastest army car in the world.
