While drifting in general is relatively safe, if done correctly and with the right set of skills and vehicle for the job, the arab style of drifting is very different. They use front-wheel drive cars (usually), accelerate them to great speeds, then pull the handbrake and go sideways - it usually looks like they are going to crash, but they don`t really do that often.

Also, the speed at which the maneuver was done is simply incredible, and it is amazing how modern tires can take that much abuse and still take you home, albeit with much less tread then before.
