Having just released two new models at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Alpina took its time to explain their fresh XD3 Biturbo and B3 Biturbo BMW-based high-performance vehicles.
After talking about the very powerful yet impressively fuel efficient XD3 Biturbo, as we've already told you yesterday, Alpina boss Andreas Bovensiepens introduce the B3 Biturbo, available in both sedan and wagon variants.

Powered by a biturbo 3.0-liter 6-cylinder mill with an output of 404 HP, the F30 3 Series-based Alpina is able to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standing start and just 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph). Thus Bovensiepens says that the B3 offers driving performance "similar to super sportscars" and we couldn't agree more.

However, this fantastic amount of oomph comes with a great deal of efficiency as well, the Aplina representative pointing out that the B3 can achieve 7.9 liters/100 km (almost 30 miles per gallon). And remember, we're talking about a car that can brake the 300 km/h barrier!

"We built and delivered 1,500 units of the B3's predecessor. This shows how important the B3 is for Alpina. The B3 is a benchmark in its segment and offers driving performance similar to super sportscars. The B3 offers the best combination of driving performance, enjoyment and efficiency," said Andreas Bovensiepens, Alpina's Owner and Head of Sales & Marketing.
