Impossible to forget after seeing it the first time, the first Agility Saietta R electric motorcycle has just been sold.
The lucky biker is Mark Northwood, already an EV enthusiast and among the first Tesla owners in the UK. We don't know the exact price of his very bike, but the Saietta R is listed on its website at £13,975 ($21,765 or €16,470).
Being the first guy to ride the production version of the Saietta R, Mark has also become the "Fleet Leader", the first of a small group of selected owners to provide the company with real-life feedback on the bike and continue the development.
The Saietta R is already rolling with a different final drive ratio and a new throttle map. The Agility SaiettaR can reach 80 mph (128.7 km/h) and the official specs claim 112 miles (182 km), including reserve of 12 miles (20 km) in the city, while the highway can see 58 miles (94 km) for a combined 74 miles (120 km).
The motor is rated 96.5 HP and 127 Nm (93.7 lb-ft), powered by a standard 9.64 kWh battery, with a max one reaching 11 kWh. Saietta R has an onboard charger and weighs in at 220kg (485 lbs). Fuel economy is 386 mpg-e, which translates to a nifty 0.6 l/100 km.
