AC Schnitzer usually does work the right way, modifying various BMWs to make them even more powerful and luxurious. Once in a while though, they make one or two unique models that go against the stream.
Such a model was the so-called GP 3.10. You might say it's a weird name for an AC Schnitzer creation and you'd be right. This one is based on a 3 Series but goes way beyond what you ever expected.

The 3er received an engine transplant, the donor being an E60 M5. That's right, the car now has an S85 5-liter V10 under the bonnet. Not only that but the power output was taken up to 552 HP and 540 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque and the gearbox is a 7-speed SMG unit.

The funny part comes now, though. The car runs on LPG. That's right, AC Schnitzer built a car that runs on LPG and it's nothing to mess with too. With that kind of power, the 100 km/h (62 mph) benchmark is reached in 4.5 seconds whilst the top speed is rated at 320 km/h (200 mph).

Other changes include racing suspension, 8-pot brake calipers not the front rotors and 4-pot on the rear, a special aerodynamics kit that includes a bonnet with integrated air outlets and a front skirt with integrated air intakes for brake cooling, side skirts with integrated air intakes, rear roof wing with CF centre part and so on.

Inside, luxury is the word we need to describe what you'll experience. Nappa leather goes all around, the panels have all been painted mineral green while racing seats, aluminum covers and custom floor mats complete the ACS package.

The best thing about this monster is that it's for sale. That's right, it can be yours, if you're interested in an LPG-powered supercar. The asking price is EUR55,000 and the GP3.10 can be found at the AC Schnitzer HQ in Germany. You might have a problem importing it to the US, with the Goverment shut down and all but we think it's worth checking out.
