A5 getting lonely, here comes the S5

The Audi A5 was feeling lonely, so the German manufacturer thought of revealing its sports coupe companion, the S5. Needless to say that the Audi S5 has quattro permanent four wheel drive, but something that stands out is the V8 FSI engine which can develop up to 354 horsepower, thanks to its direct injection technology.

This sports coupe from Audi can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds and can reach its peak torque of 440 Nm at 3,500 rpm. For now, it only has a six speed manual gearbox combined with a tuned sports suspension meant to give the S5 a dynamic handling. Also, this new model from Audi is equipped with a set of high-performance brakes and ESP, system that can be deactivated in order to take full advantage of the car's power and torque.

On the inside, the Audi S5 keeps its sporty look and feel, courtesy of the sport seats and steering wheel everything else being customizable upon request. You can choose from carbon, aluminum, stainless steel or wood inlays. As a standard feature in all Audi S5 models are the xenon headlights and the 245/40 R18 tires and electronic adjustment in the sports seats.

When it comes to the exterior design, the S5 is not spectacular and original. On the contrary, it resembles quite a lot the BMW 3 Series Coupe, but the 18 inch rims with the new S design are looking good. In the front you can find the usual radiator grille present on all the Audi S models but this time they painted it in platinum gray and fitted it with vertical chrome inlays.
