Enter Max Hazan's new creation, a Ducati Monster 900 which looks better than most of the other builds based on this naked machine.
Now, truth is that there's rather few original Monster left in this new Monster, as Hazan decided to go a bit radical with the build. The wheels, engine and half of the frame were retained, but the rest was custom made, for a coherent result.
The rear section of the frame was chopped off and Max Hazan handmade a new one to suit his purpose better. Add in the rear mudguard, the spartan foam seat and the intriguing rear cowl, and the all-new bespoke fuel tank to bring true radical, custom DNA into the game.
Now, since half of the bike was already changed, it was no use leaving the engine untouched. The carbs were rejetted to work better with the open intake which replaced the stock airbox, and the exhaust pipes also had to be reworked.
Max TIG-welded custom headers for the carbon exhausts. And if the intricate design under the bike's belly looks a bit weird, that is because both headers had to be equal in length.
A Harley-Davidson headlight came in place, as well as a steering damper hidden inside the frame. The battery and all electronics are inside the tank, so to speak, and the bike simply couldn't look any tidier.
