6D Helmets have taken yet another step to expanding their business after winning the "Drive Your Business Forward" contest organized by Fast Company Magazine and Mercedes-Benz. Was it worth the efforts? Definitely yes, as 6D Helmets are now the owners fo a large, brand-new Mercedes Sprinter van and a $10K (€7.2K) check for customizing it.
The van was quickly upgraded and it was turned into a mobile office in the front and a helmet workshop in the back, with plenty of visual customization involved and more hardware coming from Kicker Audio, Clarion Audio, Matrix Concepts and RB Components.
We are still waiting to see the 6D revolutionary technology crossing beyond the motocross borders and making inroads into the street-oriented helmet market. It looks like the manufacturer is gaining momentum, so we could dare hope for a decisive move in 2014.
