The day has finally arrived, ladies and gentlemen. Our friends from the Camaro6.com forum confirmed that General Motors started accepting dealer orders for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. Depending on demand, GM will sort out how many cars go to which dealer before production commences in the fourth quarter.
As a brief reminder, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro playbook informs that initial production comprises of V6 and V8 models. The 2-liter turbocharged model is expected to become reality in the first quarter of next year. Even though pricing for the all-new generation isn't known at the present moment, General Motors reps that attended the Camaro Fest declared that the official price list will be revealed in a matter of days.

The gentleman that posted the featured 2016 Chevrolet Camaro order confirmation on the previously mentioned enthusiast forum offers us with great information on his car's target production date. The time frame given by General Motors is 09.07.2015 to 09.13.2015, which is roughly a month early compared to company's statement on V6 and V8 models being slated for production in the fourth quarter.

Being a 2SS model, the gentlemen that ordered this 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will have to fork out a considerable sum of money to enjoy the growl of the 6.2-liter LT1 small-block V8 motor and the plethora of equipment that's coming as standard on this particular trim level. The Mustang GT Premium starts at $36,300, which is why we believe a well-equipped 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS will easily surpass $40k.

But then again, who can say no to a 455 horsepower vee-eight, a fast-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission, and magnetorheological dampers on the lightest, most nimble, and most techno-crazy Camaro ever? On an ending note, if you're a Chevrolet Camaro aficionado dying to know more about the 2016 model year, none other than Al Oppenheiser is here to deliver the goodies in the following video.
