When “max” is just a mere word and people want even more, some might just have to make do with what they have. However, desiring more than “max” from Yamaha might just get you exactly what you wanted: enter the 2015 Yamaha T-MAX Iron Max, a new special edition maxi scooter dedicated to those who want to stand from the crowd.
Yamaha has equipped the 2015 T-MAX Iron Max with a plethora of exclusive features and specialty parts so mistaking it for anything else than a limited edition two-wheeler is impossible. Already a good-looking machine, the Iron Max has become the ultimate special edition scooter, with gold anodized forks and matching caliper caps for the radial brakes, while the aluminium footplates, emblems and the luxury stitched seat add to the impressive attire.

Aesthetic upgrades create a sharp-looking machine

The front cowl has been redesigned for a more aggressive presence, and has received new dual headlights with LED lighting elements and clear lenses. LED can also be found in the turn signals, for better visibility and sleek styling.

Multiple metal accents introduce a sober level of elegance, while stressing the exclusive nature of this machine. The plush seats boast luxurious upholstery, with stitched accents and a rider lower back rest, matching the slender grab rails in the rear section. For the 2015 T-MAX Iron Max, the designers of the Iwata house also delivered an exclusive analog/LCD hybrid dashboard with a 12V outlet, to which the added push-button Smartkey ignition is a most convenient and welcome addition.

2015 Yamaha T-MAX Iron Max is powered by an injected 503cc liquid-cooled parallel twin which delivers A2-compliant 45.8 hp at 6,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm (38.5 lb-ft) of torque at 5,250 revs. An ABS version is also available for a slightly higher price than the standard version. In Germany, we saw the 2015 Yamaha T-MAX Iron Max ABS listed for a base price of €11,595 (equivalent to $13,715).
