Despite the model set to be launched in almost a year from now, it seems that Mercedes-Benz is very busy these months with testing various pre-production prototypes of the GLK X205 all over Europe.
Not even two weeks ago we were showing you the first interior shots of the upcoming crossover/SUV, making it clear that it will borrow quite a lot of design features from the C-Class W204, on whose platform it will be based.
As you know, the current generation of the Mercedes-Benz GLK was criticized by many for not being available in a right-hand drive configuration, therefore missing out on quite a good deal of markets, including Great Britain.
The model's second generation will not suffer from the same problem, as evidenced by the RHD spyshots we gave you some time ago.
Today it's time to check out some newer photos of the 2015 GLK X205 in the wild, with the “wild” being represented by Germany's streets and highways.
There is no way to tell for sure until more of the camouflage comes off, but it seems that the model will lose most of its rugged, angular styling in favor for a design inline with the new Mercedes-Benz direction.
As expected, the model will share most of its engine lineup with the upcoming C-Class W205 and there is a good chance that it will also be manufactured in the US.
