Zero has updated more than their website and logo, and the 2014 S model was not an exception. And award-winning bike in 2013, it was only natural that the Zero S became better.
The Zero S retains the clutchless, one-speed transmission, and it works just as well and cool as before, with no additional mechanical cooling systems needed.

New, 43mm forks have replaced the older ones, and the triple clamps are now better integrated with the surrounding parts. The dash was redesigned almost entirely and is now more elegant than the previous version, while retaining the full functional character.

2014 Zero S is good for 67 hp and 106 ft-lbs (143.8 Nm) and can reach a top speed of 102 mph (164 km/h). Riders can choose between an 8.5 kWh and the 11.4 kWh battery packs, and a supplemental 12.5 kWh Power Tank is also available.

Range varies between 103 and 171 miles (165 – 275 km) in the city and can reach 116 miles (186 km) combined. Prices also range between $12,995 and $17,490 (€9,690 – 13,040).
