2014 Volkswagen Polo Facelift HD Wallpapers

One of the 2014 Volkswagen Polo Facelift party tricks is the new Fresh trim level, which happens to do just what its name says. This honorably keeps the German supermini under the spotlights by increasing its appeal. Thus, we decided to shoot our Polo tester in a scenery that deserved the same attribute. You can enjoy this, together with the rest of the wallpapers in a 1280 x 720 px or in a 1920 x 1080 px form.

Using this perspective takes us underneath the Polo and this is where we find its weakness. When assessing the ride and handling, the PQ25 platform of the vehicle reaches its limits, as it doesn't excel in any of these areas. Still, the 2014 revamp has brought electronically-controlled dampers, which offer two settings, solving many of the issues.

While the Renault Clio offers mediocre soundproofing and the Ford Fiesta has an only-decent approach when it comes to this, the Polo spells "premium". It feels like a serious car, which means that it can support your long trip desires.

Like any VW facelift, this one didn't exactly put a disguise on the Polo. The greatest change is perhaps the addition of a radar in the center of the lower air intake - the one you see missing below. This brings the Active Cruise Control feature to the Polo. The little VW can also use this for functions such as the Front Assist and City Emergency Braking, which, by the way, can be ordered separately.

Anthracite Gray is the hue of the 16-inch Portago wheels included in the Fresh pack of our test car. This seems to make a nice contrast with the Cornflower Blue color of the car. It's worth mentioning this is one of the new hues introduced by the revamp, so if you have a friend who owns an pre-facelift Polo, you can make him or her jealous.

The "Bluemotion" badge does quite a lot, since it brings standard start-stop across the range. From 90 hp up, it also implies standard braking energy recuperation. Yes, a Polo that does what an F1 car does. Well, almost. Anyway, you can check out its lack of a Formula One aerodynamics package in the Full HD photo gallery of our 2014 Volkwasgen Polo review.
