One of the nicest things about the new, 2014 year model of the Kawasaki KLX110 is its universal fun capabilities: this bike is a great choice for riders age 8 and older, but adults can also enjoy it, making a great fun resource for the entire family.
The 111cc 4-stroke carbureted engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox with automatic clutch, making riding really easy for the youngsters and fun for more seasoned off-road enthusiasts. The small engine is canted forward and allows the steel frame to be lower: this means a smaller seat height and more confidence for the new riders.

The electric ignition and engine kill switches are conveniently placed on the handlebars and thanks to a screw-type throttle limiter, adults can decide how fast will the young be able to ride. Drum brakes ensure there is enough stopping force on tap, while at the same time being less susceptible to malfunction when deep in dirt.

At $2,199 (€1,673) the 2014 Kawasaki KLX110 is truly affordable, especially as it will not be easily outgrown by the kids and can be a great training bike for the future champions.
