If you were looking for a workhorse that’s able to satisfy you hunger for luxury, then you’re in luck! Chevrolet has just revealed the range-topping High Country version of its new Silverado pickup truck.
Powered by either 5.3-liter or 6.2-liter V8 EcoTec3 engines, the High Country stands out among other Silverado trucks thanks to its unique chrome grille with horizontal chrome bars, halogen projector headlamps and body-color front and rear bumpers. Other trim specific exterior details include chrome body side moldings, door handles and mirrors, as well as a set of unique 20-inch chrome wheels with all-season tires.
In the cabin, customers will be greeted by an exclusive saddle brown interior and several safety and convenience features, such as heated and cooled perforated premium leather front bucket seats, Chevrolet MyLink connectivity with 8-inch touch screen and front/rear park assist. Moreover, the sound is provided by a Bose premium audio system.
Besides the more powerful 6.2-liter mill, the options list will also include include a chrome rear bumper with CornerStep, integrated trailer brake controller, sunroof, navigation, and a rear-seat entertainment system. Also, a High Country Premium Package which includes heated steering wheel, driver alert package, adjustable pedals and integrated trailer brake controller is up for grabs.
“High Country will be the top model in the Silverado lineup, with a higher level of premium features and materials with a rich, Western themed appearance,” said Maria Rohrer, Silverado marketing director. “But at the same time, High Country is 100-percent Chevy truck, with the capability and dependability customers have relied on for more than 95 years.”
The 2014 Silverado High Country will join Chevrolet’s line of premium pickup trucks, which also includes the LTZ and Z71 models, this fall.
