Chevrolet might be as 'Merican as shotguns and Bud Light, but a good chunk of models are built elsewhere. Take the 2014 Impala sedan for example, a brand new full-size that will roll off the lie at GM's Oshawa, Ontario factory.
So it's only natural that Chevrolet announce a fairly reasonable price for the new Impala in Canada. The CA$28,445 starting sticker for the car represents an increase of just $145 over the old car.
This base model comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with fuel-saving eAssist technology that is estimated to deliver as low as 5.6L/100km on the highway.
However, the Impala will at first only be available with the 3.6-liter V6 producing 305-horsepower, with a starting price of $32,945 for the LT and $39,645 for the LTZ. The 2.5L engine is priced as follows: $28,445 for the LS; $31,445 for the LT; $36,445 for the LTZ. Destination charge on all models is $1,550.
