We’ve recently tested the Volkswagen Beetle and found out what the car hides under its attractive skin. At a certain point during our review, we felt the need to experience an open air ride and thus we became anxious to know more about the future Cabrio version of the car.
The Beetle Cabrio will arrive later this year, but we couldn’t just sit around and wait, so we decided to search the web for a rendering. We came across the adjacent image, which was created by deviantart user GoodieDesign, and brings a rather extreme approach on the matter.
The production model should come with a folding soft-top, like the previous two generations, but the rendering shows a more interesting layout, giving us a rolling roof. In case you are wondering if there’s a market for that, we can give you an example to demonstrate this: the Fiat 500C, a vehicle that has been well received.
Until VW decides to gives us some details, we’re inviting you to enjoy the visual ride!
