Big, strong and from some angles quite handsome - the Toyota Sequoia is popular with SUV buyers in America. So we took interest in the changes that the automaker is planning to make to the lineup.
As we’ve come to expect, it’s not about adding, but about streamlining and dropping the old anchors. The standard 4.6-liter V8 engine to be more precise, which is going to be removed for the 2013 model year, leaving only the top 5.7-liter V8 as an option.

The 4.6-liter lump made only 310 horsepower and 327 lb-ft of torque. And while that might seem good compared to the 5.7L which made only 71 hp and 74 lb-ft more, it only gets a few more miles to the gallon.

The 2013 model year will come with more equipment, but also a few thousand dollars as an increase in price.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
