Korean automaker Hyundai has released pricing information for the two models that make up th 2013 Santa Fe crossover range, the five-seater Sport model and the seven-seater with extended wheelbase. Both were revealed at the new York Auto Show in April and are designed using an enhanced language called “Storm Edge”, which hopes to emulate the shapes created by nature during a storm.
The 2013 Santa Fe Sport will start at a reasonable $24,450 not including the $825 destination and handling. But this money only gets you the base front-wheel drive crossover with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 190 horsepower. Hyundai says this will do 33 mpg highway and 23 mpg city.

Far more appealing is the Santa Fe Sport equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 265 horsepower, which will set you back starting from $27,700 plus $825 destination and handling fee. If you want AWD in combination with any of those engines, it will set you back $1,750 over the base model’s price.
