2013 Genesis Coupe Drift Car Racing at Long Beach

Rhys "Mad Skilz" Millen takes us behind the scenes at the first race of the D1 season in Long Beach, California, where the brand new Team Hyundai car saw its track debut. We are of course talking about a drift car based on the 2013 Genesis Coupe, the significantly refreshed model with cool lines and improved engines.
Despite the fact that this 650 horsepower monster is relatively new and untested, it performs quite well, thanks in part to some really consistent driving from Rhys. He put on quite the show in Long Beach and we look forward to the next race in Atlanta to see more action from him.

Rhys and his team took the sloppy seconds this time, but they are on the hunt for the title.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
