Chevrolet is making some improvements in the fuel economy of its lineup with the introduction of better four-cylinder engines. One of them is the 2.0-liter turbo in the Malibu sedan, which has received its official EPA rating today.
This 259 horsepower midsize sedan will do 21 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, 24 mpg combined. That’s quite impressive considering that the car will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds and will top out at 155 mph.
The 2013 Malibu Turbo will be available starting this fall from $27,710 in LT trim. his comes standard with 18-inch aluminum wheels, Chevy MyLink, with a seven-inch color touch-screen radio, Bluetooth, and USB port, Dual-zone automatic climate control, Remote start, Eight-way power driver seat with lower lumbar, Tilting and telescoping steering column with steering wheel controls for audio and cruise control and Ice-blue ambient lighting.
