2012 Mercedes CLS63 AMG Fashion Police Car Patrols Michigan Avenue

It looks like the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force takes its job seriously everywhere it goes. After New York and Miami, the new 2012 CLS63 AMG fashion police car rolled on the streets of Chicago, during the City's first major shopping event, In-Fashion: The Magnificent Mile Shopping Festival.

Making its way from the glamorous Michigan Avenue, the CLS63 AMG Fashion Force vehicle clad in its official badging, pulled over stylesetters and reward them with a ride to their next destination.

Each stylesetter chosen by the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force is going to have their picture taken and awarded a pair of limited-edition Havaianas flip flops created especially for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force.

Fashion Bloggers on patrol included a list of leading names such as: Corey McFadden of Glosses and Found, Braylenn Barr of Racked Chicago, Style Tribe, and many more.

“Mercedes-Benz has a natural affinity with the world of fashion with cars that appeal to those with a strong sense of style,” said Lisa Holladay, manager of brand experience for Mercedes-Benz USA. “The 2012 CLS 63 AMG four-door coupe is the perfect vehicle for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force initiative with its fascinating design and significant curb appeal.”

At the heart of the car, we find AMG’s new 5.5 liter twin-turbo V8 powerplant that delivers 518 hp and a maximum torque of 516 lb-ft (700 Nm). However, the customers can also choose an optional Performance Package that brings the output to 550 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque.
