2012 F30 BMW 3-Series Launched in India

BMW India has finally announced the launch of the most important car the Bavarian automaker has created in a long time, the all-new sixth generation BMW 3-Series. As you probably know by now, the F30 sedan is larger but also lighter than the E90 3-Series that came before it.
In India, BMW is launching the new 3-Series in five engines, only offering two engine choices. The first and most important is the 320d, which uses a 2-liter turbodiesel with 184 horsepower and is available in combination with the Sport, Luxury and Luxury Plus Lines.

The petrol range consists of the new 2.0-liter with BMW TwinPower Turbo, High Precision Direct Petrol Injection, fully variable valve control. This engine has produces 245 hp and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) or peak torque at 4,800 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h time is 5.9 seconds, while top speed is the same electronically limited 250 km/h (155 mph).
