It seems that God is angry not only with all things Ferrari, but also all cars that are red. A brand new F30 3-Series sedan in bright red was thoroughly damaged by a massive hail in South Texas.
But the snazzy new 3er wasn’t the only car to wear the propeller badge to be destroyed by mother nature that day, as BiemmerPost reports on a multitude of other sorry-looking cars, including a 328i coupe with M Sport pack, and another 3-Series in silver.
These cars were sitting on a BMW dealer’s lot in McAllen, Texas. The owner of the red 335i was told by the dealer that so much water got in his car that it needed a new engine. There’s also more dings on the body than you can count in a lifetime and the glass is broken at the back and damaged at the front.
Fortunately, the damage is covered by insurance. But mother nature took no hostages: 77 BMWs were damaged on this particular lot.
