2011 VW Touareg by JE Design Unveiled

The tuners at JE Design have just released photos and details of the 2011 VW Touareg project, which involves a wide-body kit and performance upgrades. The German SUV has received a new radiator grille, new spoilers, wider wheel arches and a rear roof spoiler, for EUR4998.

The widebody kit is developed to accommodate the Touareg standard version, but it can also be fitted to designer packages “Chrome & Style” as well as “Terrain-Style”.

Visual enhancements also include a new exhaust system with 90 mm dual tailpipes for EUR599, and custom alloy wheels. The complete wheel package is available for EUR5190, while single wheels are available for EUR690 each. For a total of EUR409 the 30 mm wheel spacers on the front axle and 40 mm wheel spacers on the back axle additionally ensure that the wheel housing is optimally completed.

In addition, the tuners have also developed a pneumatic electronic suspension lowering module which brings the SUV closer to the ground by 35 mm, for EUR1428.

Performance wise, the 4.2-litre TDI plant powering the JE Design 2011 VW Touareg is now capable of developing 410 horsepower (302 kW) and 800 Nm of torque instead of 340 HP (250 kW) and 800 Nm like on the standard model. This helps the Je Design 2011 VW Touareg sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 269 km/h.

The price of EUR2999 already includes a one year warranty for the engine, the turbo charger, the transmission and the power train and can be extended to two years for an additional EUR199.

The complete JE Design upgrade, including assembly, paint and TUV registration is available for EUR19,750.
