2011 Cholmondeley Pageant of Power to Boost New Car Sales

The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, a feast of ultra-special automotive creations, is receiving a new feature for this year, as the event will also include the “Magnificent Marques”, an opportunity for carmakers and dealers to market and sell vehicles.

The event, which is being held at its usual location, the Chesire Castle, between July 15 and 17, is expected to gather a crowd of over 75,000. “Magnificent Marques” has been developed to allow sponsors to showcase cars, hosts guest in units adjacent to the circuit, as well as offer test drives on the Cholmondeley track and local roads.

We had an attendance of 50,000 at the Pageant in 2010 and will far exceed that this year.  With the addition of Magnificent Marques, the Pageant provides an unbeatable opportunity to promote and sell vehicles in this part of the world,” explained James Hall, Events Director for the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power.

The new development will also serve an eco-friendly purpose, as it will be used to showcase eco concepts and production vehicles.

With the launch at this year’s Pageant of the ‘Power to the Future’ enclosure, hosted in conjunction with Green-Car-Guide Live!, the event organisers are also inviting manufacturers to exhibit their environmentally-friendly cars and technologies in production-ready and concept form.  The enclosure is also open to dealers to showcase the future direction of automotive technology and generate sales for the ’green’ cars in their own showrooms,” stated the press release.
