2010 Toyota Tundra Pickup and Sequoia Pricing Unveiled

Japanese automaker Toyota today unveiled pricing for the 2010 Tundra pickup and Sequoia full-size SUV.

Specifically, prices for the 2010 Tundra will range between $22,960 for the Regular Cab 4x2 standard bed with a V6 engine and equipped with a Work Truck Package and $42,155 for the CrewMax Limited 4x4 with a 5.7-liter V8 engine. The new Sequoia range is priced at $38,530 for the SR5 4x2 with a new 4.6-liter V8 engine and $58,905 for the Platinum 4x4 with a 5.7-liter V8.

To get to more aesthetics and safety sides, the 2010 Tundra comes equipped with new front grille and tail lamps, as well as with driver and front passenger knee airbags, height-adjustable headlamps, and a redesigned seven-pin towing hitch connector, all of them offered as standard.

The 4.6-liter V8 engine generates 310 horsepower and 327 lb-ft of torque, with fuel efficiency reaching 15 mpg city and 20 mpg highway on 4x2 models.

Tundra will be manufactured by Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas in San Antonio and is expected to go on sale in late April.

On the other hand, the 2010 Sequoia will be powered by a 4.6-liter engine as standard, with maximum power going to as much as 310 hp and fuel consumption rating of 14 mpg/city and 19 mpg/highway. A more powerful option is also available in the form of a 5.7-liter unit, with both powerplants mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Standard features include driver and front passenger knee airbags plus Bluetooth, satellite radio capability and MP3 interface with an auxiliary audio jack and USB port.

The 2010 Sequoia will be manufactured by Toyota's manufacturing facility in Princeton, Indiana and will arrive in dealerships in late April.
