The Yamaha Royal Star Venture was a luxury touring machine made by Yamaha in two forms: from 1983 to 1993 and 1999 to 2013. The bike debuted in 1983, packing the newly created V4 engine.

In 2018, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Yamaha Star Venture, a touring motorcycle loaded with touring-oriented accessories, modern technology, and plenty of performance.

In the visual department, the bike had standard features, such as a shark-styled front cowl with a tall windscreen, two massive air intakes on each side, a wide handlebar, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a one-piece dual seat with a lumbar support for the rider, a large top case with an integrated passenger backrest, side-mounted panniers, a dual exhaust system, and five-spoke wheels.

The bike was built around a steel frame with a 46 mm telescopic fork on the front, delivering 130 mm of travel, and an adjustable shock absorber on the rear with 109 mm of travel, providing an excellent and comfortable riding experience.

The massive machine relied on two 298 mm discs with four-piston calipers on the front wheel and a 320 mm disc with a single-piston caliper on the rear wheel, providing excellent stopping power enhanced by an Anti-Lock Braking System.

Underneath its armor, the 2018 Yamaha Star Venture had installed a 1,845cc four-stroke air-cooled V-twin engine with a fuel injection system in charge, delivering 171 Nm (126 lb-ft) torque at 2,250 rpm.
