The Triumph Speed Four was a standard or naked machine manufactured from 2002 to 2006. The bike was the non-faired brother of the Triumph TT600 that debuted in 1999.

Like the Speed Triple, the Speed Four had similar twin-round headlights on the front but a different engine and frame. It packed the clip-on handlebar of the TT600 model instead of the motocross-inspired unit of the Speed Triple.

Besides the cam profiles, ignition, fuel injection mapping, front spring rate, and other minor modifications, the Speed Four was mechanically similar to its TT600 predecessor and packed race-ready suspensions.

Over its production period from 2002 to 2006, Triumph manufactured 4,606 Speed Fours, from which 1,011 models were produced for the American market, and only 54 units were made for the Canadian market.

In the visual department, the 2005 machine packed the same standard features as previous models, such as two-round headlights, a single seat with a passenger cover, a single exhaust system, three-spoke aluminum wheels, and a new Neon Blue paint scheme.

Underneath its fuel tank, the 2005 Triumph Speed Four had installed a 599cc four-stroke four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine fed by an electronically controlled fuel injection system, delivering 98 hp at 11,750 rpm and 68 Nm (50 lb-ft) torque at 10,500 rpm.

As for the braking power, the bike packed two 310 mm floating discs with four-piston calipers on the front and a 220 mm disc with a single-piston caliper on the rear, offering excellent stopping power.

In 2004, the British motorcycle manufacturer launched the Triumph Speed Four, a naked machine made by Triumph since 2002. It was released as a non-faired sibling of the TT600 sports bike and remained in production until 2006 when it was succeeded by the Street Triple model.

In the mechanical department, the Speed Four was similar to the TT600, except for the cam profiles, fuel injection mapping, ignition, front spring rate, and other minor parts. Also, the Speed Four packed a race-ready, fully adjustable suspension.

Compared to previous models, the 2004 Speed Four came with a new vibrant Racing Yellow paint scheme that joined the already owned Jet Black and Roulette Green. Besides that, the bike was identical to previous models.

In the aesthetic department, the bike had standard features, such as two round headlights, a small cluster cowl mounted above the lights, a one-piece seat with a passenger seat cover, a four-into-one exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the right side, and three-spoke lightweight aluminum wheels.

The 2004 Triumph Speed Four had its heartbeat set by a 599cc four-stroke four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with a fuel injection system feeding the pistons, boasting 98 hp at 11,750 rpm and 69 Nm (51 lb-ft) torque at 10,500 rpm.

The bike's suspension system comprised a 43 mm fully adjustable telescopic fork on the front and a fully adjustable shock absorber on the rear, providing excellent handling capabilities.

In 2003, the British motorcycle manufacturer launched the Triumph Speed Four, a standard or streetfighter motorcycle that debuted in 2002 as a replacement for the Triumph TT600. The bike remained in production until 2006, when it was replaced by the Street Triple model.

From 2002 to 2006, the British company manufactured and sold 4,606 Speed Four motorcycles. Almost a third of that number, 1,011 units to be more exact, were manufactured for the American market, and only 54 units were made for the Canadian market.

The 2003 machine packed the same performance, visual, and technical specifications as the previous model without any modifications whatsoever. The naked machine was agile and aggressive and delivered excellent handling with a strong feeling of control.

In the aesthetic department, the motorcycle packed the same standard features as the previous model, including two round headlights, a single seat with a pillion cowl, a four-into-one exhaust system with a muffler on the right side, and three-spoke lightweight aluminum wheels.

As for the performance figures, the 2003 Triumph Speed Four had installed underneath its fuel tank a 599 cc four-stroke liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine with a fuel injection system in charge, delivering 98 hp at 11,750 rpm and 68 Nm (50 lb-ft) torque at 10,500 rpm.

The bike's power was transferred to a six-speed manual transmission with a wet multi-plate clutch and a final X-ring chain drive, pushing the motorcycle to a top speed of 231 kph (144 mph).
