Triumph Motorcycles was a British motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1902. In 2022, they celebrated 120 years of motorcycle manufacture, and for more than three decades, they were based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, producing iconic machines that perfectly combined authentic design, charisma, character, and performance.

The last addition to the Triumph range was the Triumph Speed 400 alongside the Scrambler 400 X. The Speed 400 roadster joined the most successful modern-classic line-up alongside the Speed Twin 900 and 1200.

The 2023 Triumph Speed 400 was designed from the ground up with a new single-engine platform and made in such a way as to deliver a fun, agile, and inspiring ride for riders of all experience levels and ages.

In addition, the bike featured two-tone color schemes, further enhanced by a prominent Triumph graphic on the fuel tank that reflected its dynamic roadster styling. It was available with Carnival Red, Caspian Blue, and Phantom Black.

At the bike's heart was a 398cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, managed by a Bosch electronic fuel injection system with electronic throttle control. The 2023 Triumph Speed 400 boasted 40 hp with a peak at 8,000 rpm and 38 Nm (28 lb-ft) torque at 6,500 rpm.

The bike's handling was managed by a 43 mm upside-down Big Piston fork on the front with 140 mm wheel travel and a gas-charged preload-adjustable shock absorber with an external reservoir on the rear, offering 130 mm wheel travel.
