In 2023, the American electric motorcycle manufacturer launched the Lightning Motorcycles Strike R. This electric motorcycle continued the Strikes family evolution with advanced technologies, lightweight, an aerodynamic design, and excellent performance.

The bike is part of the Strike family and is a product of the Lightning Motorcycles company, an American Electric motorcycle manufacturer founded in 2006 in San Carlos, California. In 2018, the company relocated its headquarters to San Jose, California, five times larger than the San Carlos previous location.

The bike's visual department presented a full aerodynamic fairing with a dual headlight system, a small windscreen, a single seat with lumbar support, an aluminum side stand, and six-spoke lightweight wheels.

In the suspension department, the bike packed a 43 mm inverted, fully adjustable Ohlins FGRT fork on the front and a fully adjustable Ohlins TTX GP shock absorber on the rear, offering excellent suspension performance and handling.

As for the braking power, the bike packed two 320 mm Brembo steel discs coupled to four-piston Brembo calipers on the front wheel and a 245 mm Brembo disc with a dual-piston Brembo caliper on the rear wheel, providing excellent stopping power.

The 2023 Lightning Motorcycles Strike R had its heartbeat set by a Lightning Ultra Power Dense Axial Flux 380V liquid-cooled motor that delivered 180 hp at 12,000 rpm.

The Lightning Motorcycles Strike C is an electric motorcycle that debuted in 2019, engineered with the knowledge and capabilities of the 2014 Lightning LS-218 but developed for the streets as a commuter.

The bike is part of the Strike family and a product of the Lightning Motorcycles company, an American Electric motorcycle manufacturer founded in 2006 in San Carlos, California.
