The KTM 690 Enduro R was a motorcycle manufactured by KTM from 2008 as the successor to the KTM 640 LC4 Enduro. The maker created a compromise between everyday suitability and motorsport use, so the bike was suitable for both on and off-road use.

In 2016, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer launched the KTM 690 Enduro R, a motorcycle with a powerful engine, cool looks, an excellent chassis set-up, and optimum ergonomics, combining outstanding off-road qualities with all-round ability.

The bike was built around a powder-coated chromium-molybdenum steel trellis frame fitted with a 48 mm WP inverted fork on the front with 250 mm of travel and a Pro-Lever linkage WP shock absorber on the rear with 250 mm wheel travel.

As for the braking power, the bike packed a 300 mm disc engaged by a dual-piston caliper on the front wheel and a 240 mm disc tied to a single-piston caliper on the rear wheel, providing excellent braking performance.

Underneath its fuel tank, the 2016 KTM 690 Enduro R had installed a 690cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivered 67 hp at 7,500 rpm and 68 Nm (50 lb-ft) torque at 6,000 rpm.

The bike was fitted with factory-installed features, such as a high-mounted front fender, a long, one-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, an under-seat-mounted exhaust system, and wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires.
