Trying to make its way into the world of adventure bikes, Harley-Davidson took a serious shot with the Pan America 1250, which was unveiled in February 2022. This was the first Harley-Davidson bike that could break the barriers of paved roads.

The Harley-Davidson Pan America is powered by the 1,250cc, liquid-cooled Revolution Max V-Twin engine, which also powers the Pan America 1250 Special version. The engine gives a power output of 150 hp (112 kW) at 8,750 rpm, and 128 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm.

The engine is playing a two-part role, first to save some weight as is now integrated into the chassis, and to enhance the performance of the bike by making it very stiff. The overall weight of the Pan America 1250 is 242 kg (534 lb).

The Pan America 1250 rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cast aluminum wheels, and they’re wrapped in Scorcher Adventure tires made by Michelin to optimize performance both on the road and off-road.

The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 benefits from 5 ride modes (Sport, Road, Rain, Off-Road, and Off-Road Plus) but it is also possible to create your own custom mode.

With the whole weight saving in mind, the Pan America 1250 was fitted with a center stand to save some space in the owner’s garage.
