The 1985 MY Gilera RV 125 comes with a dual seat, passenger grab rails, a Marzocchi suspension package composed of a telescopic front fork coupled to a rear monoshock, a large, square headlight, a small windscreen, cast-aluminium wheels, wide handlebars, a small engine mudguard and a front disc brake coupled to a drum brake in the rear.

In the engine department it is powered by a two-stroke, liquid-cooled, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can produce a claimed 18 horsepower at 7750 rpm.
