The 2000 MY Gilera DNA 180 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 182cc, single cylinder powerhouse, that was paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Also, it has been fitted with a nose-fairing with a small windscreen, a dual seat, blacked-out, cast-aluminium wheels, a 35mm telescopic front fork coupled to dual adjustable shocks in the rear, a belt final drive, a scooter-like exhaust system and a youthful and aggressive bodywork.

Also, this machine comes with a dual seat, a scooter-style exhaust system, cast-aluminium wheels, a nose-fairing, a 35mm telescopic front fork, dual shock absorbers as a rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes, an analogue and digital instrumentation dial, a small windscreen and a steel frame.
