The 1964 Gilera 300 Extra was powered by an air-cooled, four-stroke, 300cc, single cylinder powerhouse, paired to a four-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and could produce a claimed 15 horsepower at 8000 rpm.
This classic machine was also fitted with a hydraulic telescopic front fork coupled to dual shocks as a rear suspension, drum brakes both in the front as well as in the rear, a dual seat, a chromed, pea-shooter exhaust muffler, laced wheels, a round headlight, a blacked-out, steel frame and a generous, 19-liter fuel tank.
