The BSA Y13 was one of the most powerful machines available on the market up to date, thanks to its air-cooled, four-stroke, 748cc, V-Twin powerplant, paired to a four-speed manual transmission that could reach a maximum power output of 27 horsepower at 4800 rpm.

Standard fittings for this powerful machine include a chromed, single-sided, dual exhaust system, a hard-tail rear suspension with a sprung seat, laced wheels, large fenders, wide handlebars, a large headlight, a front girder fork with a single spring and a steel duplex cradle frame plus drum brakes.
